The latest addition to the storytelling revolution is an online community – Story Street Labs. In their own words, they are “a creative community for those passionate about stories and storytelling.”
Dedicated to making creative stories an easy tell and an awesome experience, the community has a three-fold approach.
Firstly, the story chapters are only 1500 words at once, so that it is compatible with all forms of electronic devices (which is a blessing for readers!). Also, this ensures quicker updates on the part of the writers.
Writers often feel restricted when one doesn’t allow them to express their creativity in forms other than just the power of the words. Well, look no further, cause Story Street Labs is here to your rescue. This space has opened all doors. Be it about different font styles or colorful fonts or video aids for the stories, adding images to the story.
This platform is, however, not just about writing your story. It focuses on developing a community of writers too. You can choose the type of feedback you would like to receive. And if you’re one of the courageous types, you can also choose to converse with others through private messages. The purpose here is that no writer feels alone and dejected and surrounded by friends who motivate them to continue writing.
Whatever your genre and form of writing might be, Story Street Labs has something for everyone. Creative writing is not everyone’s cup of tea (but a cup of tea might stir your creative juices!). And it is easy to lose sight of your ideas in face of isolation, distractions and writer’s block. Alternatively, you might not be able to find constructive feedback or access the right audience for your writings.
With a welcoming, collaborative and supporting community, you find yourself slipping into a pattern of comfort. You tend to share your stories without inhibition as you meet others like you. Here, at Story Street Labs, “you are free to explore, brainstorm, experiment, develop and promote whatever creative story idea you may ever come up with.”
