Worst Dressed At The Met Gala 2017

And the award for the most boring dress goes to Gwyneth Paltrow. Could the actress get any more basic with her look? Even if we look beyond the dress, her makeup is too flat and just not right for an event like the Met Gala. Girl’s school makeup is fancier than this. A little more effort with the look would’ve been nicer especially when the Met Gala is known for the most extravagant looks.

Sarah Paulson

Not only was her gown too plain for the Met Gala, the feathers at the hem line was just not a good look.

The army print on a gown is just a complete no in this case. Everything starting from the going overboard with the jewelry, the leather gloves and the army green stole with an army print dress is just too much.

Kendall Jenner

Daring is probably an understatement. The sole purpose of Kendall Jenner wearing this dress is to seek attention. It’s disappointing that a super model like her would wear such a dress (if we can even call it that) to the Met Gala. You can’t just pretend that lingerie will work as a gown even if it’s from La Perla Haute Couture. If you want to flaunt your supermodel figure, there are other ways (Hint: Bella Hadid) but you do not wear something that looks like it was destroyed on the way here.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry was just asking for memes when she wore this cringe worthy Maison Margiela piece which looks more like red patches of cloth stiched together than a proper gown. If she was going for a horror movie look or for Cara delevingne’s look in suicide squad, then she got it right.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj’s designers at H&M probably spent so much time on the cape that they forgot to actually make a dress to attach it with. It looks like it came out of a costume box.
