Vijaydashmi’s Dhoom today across the country


Dussehra symbolizes the victory of truth on false. Today, that is to be celebrated on Friday (October 19). After worshiping nine days of Mother Durga on Friday (October 19th), the festival of Dussehra will be celebrated in a traditional way. One of the most important festivals of the year, Durga Puja will also be concluded with this. Today Ravana will be combustion in many parts of the country. However, on some occasions Thursday (October 18th) Ravana combustion was also done. Ravan was burnt on Thursday in Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Different traditions-

Ravana combustion in different places across the country and the traditions of everywhere are quite different. Arms are also worshiped on this day. Shami tree is also worshiped on this day. Many people believe that on this day it is auspicious to buy vehicles, electronics items, gold ornaments, new clothes etc. On the day of Dussehra, Nilkanth is considered to be auspicious for Lord’s visit.
