The 31 year old singer turned actress looked a mix between a white swan and black swan. The Ralph and Russo gown made her look like she was floating on top of a white cloud. In addition to being a Grammy award winner, she has also starred in the much praised Oscar winning movie Moonlight.
The model was dressed in Dior haute Couture. Her look can only be described as gothic and emo. Her makeup is a recreation of a Dior autumn/winter 2004 look. If anything, we can all take inspiration for Halloween from this look.
Rihanna’s look created quite a buzz on the internet and was the most unique one at the Met Gala red carpet. She wore a Comme des Garçons dress along with and Dsquared2 shoes. It’s a look straight from the autumn/winter 2016 catwalk. We don’t really know what’s going on with her dress. I don’t think she knows either but it goes well with the theme of the Met Gala this year.
Haley Bennett popularly known for her role in the movie The Girl on the Train looks quite different in her Dolce and Gabbana dress. But what caught everyone’s attention was her elaborate head piece that she matched to her floral dress.

Tracee Ellis Ross wore a Comme des Garçons dress along with Christian Louboutin shoes. The shape of the dress is quite unusual. It’s asymmetrical. The actress is popularly known for her role in the ABC comedy series Black-ish.
Lilly Collins looked like a doll out of a music box. Her dress is from Giambattista Valli and what’s unique about it is it has dropped waist. Lilly’s blunt black hair added an edge to the otherwise feminine look.
Pharrell Williams‘ wife Helen Lasichanh made her first appearance since she gave birth to triplets this January. While the red carpet is usually known for gowns and revealing dresses, the mother of four opted for a red jumpsuit by Comme des Garçons. The jumpsuit was padded and pillowy.
Last but certainly not the least, Katy Perry wore the most original and baffling outfit. The outfit had headdresses which consisted of rear view mirrors, springs and the word eye-witness. The outfit is a custom-made Maison Margiela piece, designed by John Galliano himself.
