The festival of Teej is being celebrated today in the country. On the Teej day is the law of worship of Lord Mahadev and Mata Gauri. According to religious belief, the fasting of the Teej is achieved for inviolate fortune, while the virgin girls get the desired husband. According to the Hindu calendar, every year the celebration is celebrated on the third day of the Teer Bhadrapada the Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadra. This fast will be celebrated on September 12 this year.
On the morning of September 12, the auspicious morning of the Heratakila Teej will be in the morning from 6.15 a.m. to 8 o’clock. At the same time, the women who worship the Teej in the evening can worship between 7 am and 8 pm in the evening.
In the northern parts of India, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and parts of Uttar Pradesh, Teej is called by the name of Haratalika Teej. On the other hand, in the southern states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, this festival is called as Gauri Habbah.

It is as difficult as worshiping the Hartalika Teej, it is as hard as its fast. According to mythological validation, during this fast, women keep fast for 24 hours without water. In some situations, if the time of Tritiya more than 24 hours then the period of this fast increase.
