Summers are right in front of you but it’s up to you to make it great. So, include these five habits in your routine, and you’ll stay healthier all year.
- DRINK A LOT
Don’t get me wrong, here I am talking about water! I can’t stress much on the importance of drinking water. You people may be knowing more. But, in summers just increase the intake of water even more. Water carries heat from your internal organs before serious damage occurs, which can lead to heat stroke, and even death. Drinking plain water can be boring sometimes. Here are some ways to keep yourself hydrated besides drinking water.
- STICK WITH YOUR SUNSCREEN
Sun’s rays are most strong during summers. And not having a protection against sun will make you regret in the long run when you will look at your skin. Not only for beauty purposes but, also from the medical point of view it is very important. Skin cancer rates are increasing day by day and sunscreen has been proven to decrease the development of skin cancer.
- SWEAT WITH THE SUNRISE
It might sound quite difficult but trust me, there’s no better way to begin your healthy day. If going to a gym sounds tedious for you, just a 20 minutes’ walk will benefit you all day. It will help amp up your metabolism for the rest of the day and get those feel-good endorphins flowing.
- STAY SAFE AT THE SALON
You might want to look gorgeous all this summer. But then there is also a risk of infections. Don’t get scared. But, do take care of small things like bring your own tools. And also clean them periodically with an antiseptic solution at home. Many of the tools at spas are non-disposable and if not cleaned properly, can spread germs. And also as some of you might want to get a piercing this summer, so keep the skin clean before piercing and keep it dry for a few days after to prevent infection.
