WHAT MAKES IT BETTER THAN IT’S PREVIOUS MODELS?
There has been a lot of praises for this new model because of it’s so much speculated feature. So what makes it so special?
First things first, OnePlus 5 is a lot slimmer with a slight edge, which was otherwise rounded off in its previous handsets. Along with it, this model seems to impart a similar look to that of iPhone 7 plus. But, the previous models didn’t really seem to focus on its looks.
One of the many impressive features that it contains, is that it automatically manages to adjust the screen properties. This is in order to make the display look and feel like that of a Kindle screen. Along with it, there is an option for system-wide night mode.
What impresses the most, is the fact that, there is a one-touch setting that will completely turn off notifications while one is playing games. There are many hidden features and gestures. Like other Android, OnePlus 5 too works on Oxygen OS with only a few modifications.
The model has a 5.5 screen, a battery life of 36 hours, Dash charging feature with USB C charging port and also it’s fingerprint sensor. It is more responsive than the previous models. This is Available in colours as, Midnight Black, 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, and Slate Grey, with 64GB of storage and 6GB RAM.
THE REAR DUAL CAMERA IS THE DEAL:
The phone sports a dual camera lens, a 16-megapixel captures wide shots and a 20-megapixel telephoto camera which captures zoomed-in photos. OnePlus says it is the highest resolution dual-camera system on a smartphone. The company also says “the camera will capture more than a third more light than the OnePlus 3T’s camera while focusing 40 percent faster.“
The dual camera looks and works very much like iPhone 7. It is consisting the soft background portrait mode, in which, it senses the depth, blurring the background just sufficient to bring out the subject’s features clearly. Below is an example:
THE FINAL SAY:
OnePlus 5 is what one would say a budget phone. It doesn’t really make it look like a budget phone. The dual camera is what makes the major difference, which also makes it own stand against smartphone companies like Samsung and Google Pixels. With the looks like that of iPhone 7plus, and it’s all new features. This smartphone feels more matured as compared to previous models.
To launch OnePlus 5, an event has been held by the company in Mumbai, which will be attended by its celebrity Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan. Also, fans have been allowed attendance with an entry ticket of Rs. 999 and also receive a bag of goodies.
