Nuclear physics is becoming an important technology for every country. The number of Nuclear weapons indicates the power of a particular country. This research is focused on understanding the matter composed of quarks and gluons. So, It makes up 99% of the mass of the universe.

This is the field of physics. It studies atomic nuclei. It also studies constituents and interactions. Other forms of nuclear matter are also studied. Nuclear physics should not be confused with atomic physics. Atom is studied as a whole in it. It includes electrons. Discoveries in this field had led to many applications. This includes power, weapons, medicine and magnetic resonance imaging. It also includes ion implantation in materials engineering and radiocarbon dating in geology and archaeology.
J.J. Thomson discovered electron. Marie and Pierre Curie investigated radioactivity. Rather, Ernest Rutherford and his colleagues assisted them. Applied Physics involves nuclear reactor Physics. Reactor physics, particle physics or other branches of modern physics have common fundamentals. Atomic and nuclear physics describe fundamental particles (i.e. electrons, protons, neutrons). It includes their structure, properties and behavior, and spins.

Much of current research in this field relates to the study of nuclei. It occurs under extreme conditions such as high spin and excitation energy. Nuclei may also have extreme shapes (similar to that of Rugby balls or even pears) or extreme neutron-to-proton ratios. Experimenters can create such nuclei using artificially induced fusion or nucleon transfer reactions. It employs ion beams from an accelerator. Beams with even higher energies can be used to create nuclei at very high temperatures. There are signs that these experiments have produced a phase transition from normal nuclear matter to a new state, the quark-gluon, plasma, in which the quarks mingle with one another. Rather than being segregated in triplets as they are in neutrons and protons.
This technology is becoming widespread all over the world. So, Nuclear physics is like a boom in the science industry. It can be used in good and evil ways. So, it depends on us how we take it forward. Hence, We should encourage research in this field.
