Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice-President of India has got some recent schedules to visit Sikkim. As per the officials said, “M Venkaiah Naidu is sheduled to visit Sikkim for two days that is on 15 June to 16 June”.

As per the itinerary, Venkaiah Naidu is scheduled to attend the convocation of ICFAI University, Tripura in the state, it said. “He is also scheduled to attend an official programme at the National Research Centre for Orchids in Pakyong”, further it added.

Sikkim’s Chief Secretary Dr. A K Shrivastava held a coordination meeting yesterday. The meeting has got to discuss the detailed agenda of the vice-president Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu scheduled visit to the state, the Information and Public Relations Department (IPR) said in a release.

Top officials of the state government, central government, Army officials, the vice-chancellor of the ICFAI University and Airports Authority of India officials posted at the Pakyong airport were also present at the meeting, the IPR release said.
