MTV Movie Awards 2017: Best Dressed


The 26th edition of The MTV Movie Awards was held on May 7th, in Los Angeles this year. The awards show saw many A-listers from both television and cinema gracing the venue. In terms of fashion, this year sequins, lots of shine, colour and cutouts were clearly the way to go.

Emma Watson brought a twist to the classy old LBD by wearing this asymmetrical sequined black dress by Kits. The actress also won the first gender neutral acting award for Beauty and The Beast.

A lot of people said that Hailee’s Steinfelfd’s look reminded them of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman because of the cutouts at the waist. This lavender coloured mini dress by Fausto Puglisi is definitely the right choice for the MTV Movie Awards. It is refreshing, playful and young.

We can’t get enough of the sequins trend. Allison Williams too wore a sequined dress by Galia Lahav Haute Couture with a splash of Emerald Green. She too like Hailee Steinfeld and Taraji P. Henson had cutouts at the waist.
