So, today we will talk about a very talked phenomenon of men, as to why do men cheat on their partners? Already interested?
There are a few reasons as to why men pull wool over the eyes of their wives. Some of them are:
- Their ego.
Men often have affairs to boost their ego. Ego is the major cause for unfaithfulness in men because they need the satisfaction that they are still a part of the race. Attention from females makes them feel special and confident about themselves and the feeling of they’ve ‘still got it’ takes over.
- Dissatisfaction in the current relationship.
This is one of the reasons why men cheat. Most women after marriage become too busy with children, house problems, her in-laws and parents and therefore men are left high and dry. A man deprived of his spouse’s love and companionship might seek it elsewhere.
- Boredom with the routine life.
Some men may find the spark of their relationship going. So, they find it easier to shift to another relationship. The affair provides them with a new and fresh experience, which is appealing enough to take the risk of being caught.
- A revenge from their partners.
Very childish yet true! One of the general reasons of men cheating their partners is that their wives had an affair in past. They play this tit-for-tat game to satisfy themselves.
- Sexual problems
You all must be thinking that this will be the primary reason for infidelity among men. But you know what, it is not so. Don’t believe me? There was a study in which there were interviews with 200 cheating and noncheating husbands. And M. Gary Neuman, author of The Truth about Cheating, reports that only 8% identify sexual dissatisfaction as the reason for their infidelity.
There are no set reasons for why men have affairs. But, ladies now you know at least some of them!
