A main Pakistani performing artist Meesha Shafi on Thursday blamed on-screen character and artist Ali Zafar for sexual harassment.
“Sharing this since I trust that by standing up about my own particular experience of lewd behaviour, I will end the way of life of hush that saturates through our general public. Mr Zafar has denied the claims.

Ms Shafi’s mom, Saba Hamid, who is a widely praised Pakistani TV on-screen character, said she upheld her little girl’s choice to talk freely.
“Already, ladies weren’t permitted to talk up about things like this. This needs to stop. We have to tell our men this isn’t alright. Regardless of how minor or significant badgering is, it leaves a scar. To mend this injury, one needs to discuss it,” Ms Hamid told dawn.com.
