Kapil Dev will not join Imran Khan’s ‘Tajposhi’


Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has decided not to go in the oath-taking ceremony of former cricketer Imran, who is going to be Pakistan’s new Prime Minister. According to reports, Kapil Dev says that he is not going to Pakistan for this spot due to any personal reasons. He has also made it clear that there is no political pressure behind his decision.

In fact, Imran Khan sent an invitation to three Indian cricketers who played cricket with him for his swearing-in ceremony on August 18. Apart from Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Navjot Singh Sidhu have also been inducted for this occasion.

Earlier Sunil Gavaskar had also made it clear that he was not going to Pakistan. Gavaskar has reached England for commentary in India, England series, where the third Test starts on August 18. Gavaskar talked to Imran Khan on phone and congratulated him on this big occasion and gave his intention not to go.

Sidhu has clarified that he will go to Pakistan to honor the invitation of Imran Khan and for this, he has also started the process of getting Government permission.
