Mobile network operator (MNO), is a telecommunications service provider organization that provides wireless voice and data communication for its subscribed mobile users. Bygone is the era when people used to face a lot of problems while communicating with their long-distance relatives as well friends but nowadays technology has changed and with the change in the technical communication has become very easy, in another word to communicate with other people is now on our fingertips. As per the database the top network company in India was known to be Vodafone and Airtel.

They were the strongest telecom companies in terms of speed and quality as well as the tough competitors for Reliance JIO. Reliance JIO is an Indian mobile network operator which was launched on 27 December 2015. The company came with exciting offers on callings, data usage and SMS services and all the above the very enormous speed and quality of service.

The basic three things which are very important for a customer in deciding a network is its reliability, value and speed. All these things were covered by Jio network to attract the customers. Jio was the first ever telecom company to give their respective sim cards for free of cost as a trial but the basic question behind this deal is why? Why would a company face a loss of Rs 7.46 crores? The answer to this question is the marketing strategy, Reliance JioInfocommm limited entered the sector to not just win the game but also to rewrite the rules together.

There are more than 1 billion mobile users in India, out of which 34% were connected to the internet. Only 12% from these used 3G data or above but once the users get used to it they won’t be able to get rid of their habbits or we can say addiction this was the only reason to give free trials of the networks by the jio company.

It was not easy for Jio to capture the minds of customers as the competition was very high. Networks like Airtel, idea and Vodafone when came to know about this network, they still not cared to price their plans aggressively because back then they did not feel the need to as no other company was there to take away their subscribers.

That’s the reason Jio managed to capture the data penetration in India, and virtually owned the telecom sector in the entire Country and are still in the progress of winning the hearts and minds of people. Though they had to face a great loss for this project but eventually they are going to make their company the top profitable telecom company in India very soon.
