ICC Women T20: Sixth World Cup in the West Indies from 9 November, Indo-Pak match on 15


The sixth ICC T20 World Cup is going to start on Friday (November 9) in the West Indies. In this 10 teams will participate. The host is the West Indies defending champion and he will go down to defend his title.

However, Australia will try to capture this title for the fourth time. In 2009, the eyes of the champion England will be looking on the second title. The other seven teams, including India, have never won the title. Their goal will be to win the first title.

10 teams of ICC T20 World Cup have been divided into two groups. Group A have host teams from the West Indies, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

The second group comprises teams from India, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Every group’s top-2 teams will enter the semi-finals. In the tournament, eight teams, including the host, have got direct entry, while Bangladesh and Ireland have made the place by qualifying. There will be a total of 23 matches in the tournament.

India has participated in all five women’s T20 World Cup so far. His best performance is reaching the semifinals. The Indian team reached the semi-finals in the World Cup in 2009 and 2010. Talking about the overall match, India has played 21 matches in five World Cups. He has won 9 out of them, while in 12 he has lost.
