After the wrath of exams, when they finally get over everyone tries to treat each other with a short or long holiday to calm themselves and applaud themselves with the well-deserved time where they are just relaxing under the serenity and calmness of nature. Well, that is what I gifted myself and fled off to my most awaited destination ‘The United Kingdom’.
Apart from sightseeing and shopping, the one thing that I always had on my bucket list was to attend a concert by an international pop sensation in the most talked about arena’s where it is a blessing for all the music enthusiasts to come together and support their favourite artists. So setting on a ride on the 18th of May I got to witness one of the most wonderful time of my life in an Ariana Grande concert in the Genting Arena of Birmingham making me crave for more and more opportunities like this.
With a seating capacity of about 18 thousand and almost sold out arena, I got to be a part of the concert, having a seat with a nice view and that too at an affordable price of 3500. The feeling that a fan gets when the light dims and the film start for welcoming the artist on the stage with the deafening noise of the crowd are just indescribable. The shouts for the love and support along with the posters make it a sight never to miss for. But the best part is yet to come and it starts when the artist finally appears onstage and the crowd has probably gone ballistic with the hollering reaching to its maximum level and breaking all the decibel records.
Whether it’s a pop song or a slow one, the entire scene of noticing every fan singing with the artist is just like a day in heaven even when you’re alive sending chills down your spine. Some fans singing with while other crying in satisfaction of being present there and finally witnessing their beloved artist in front of them after following their every step for so long is a picture and environment of pure bliss and that is the time you realize that whoever the artist may be, every penny spent on them is worth it. Every piece of your hard work if spent in this does not match the feeling that you would get while standing in the middle of the crowd and that is what entices me to go to such concerts in arenas like this again and again to have a repeat of the best night of my life.
