Due to celebrating the festival of Bakrid, the Holy Book of Islam is found in the Qur’an. It is written in the Quran that one day Allah had asked Hazrat Ibrahim to sacrifice his most special and beloved in a dream. In obedience to Allah’s command, Hazrat Sahib decided to sacrifice his son. As soon as he struck his neck to give his son a sacrifice, at the same time, Allah turned the knife to the sacrifice and sacrificed the goat. Since then, the festival of Bakrid in all the countries is remembered for the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim.
